Website Fixed!

So after a easter long weekend html session, we've managed to get the website working in IE, firefox and opera (windows, linux, mac and wii). There is one small issue left to resolve but this shouldn't be much of a problem. Full steam ahead for the writeups now..

Updates!

So the page now has some content! Full steam ahead now, keep checking back for more writeups and other fun HIT381 stuff!
Everything except the iframe in the blog page should validate to xhtml strict and there will be more descriptive code to come.
Keep an eye on the navigation bar as it may very well change drastically. Its starting to cause a lot of problems in that its not very expandable, and basically not at all supported by internet explorer. I was browsing through some training sites for work the other day and came across one that told me that i couldn't view their webpage until i downloaded Internet Explorer. What a crock! I wish i could just put up an intro page for IE users telling them that "This website will only display correctly in standards based browsers, click here to continue or go download a real browser (ie. not internet explorer)". The page display's perfectly on my Nintendo Wii and my xbox in XBoxMediaCenter, yet will not display correctly in windows on internet explorer.. wheres the logic in that..........
Anyway, thats my rant thanks for listening, lets hope we can sort it out!

2nd Entry

Well, if you'd seen the original template, it had colours and all sorts of fancy stuff, so i changed it to a very 'plain' one and modified it up a bit so that it looks good, goes pretty well with the styling on our page i think.. I also wanted to see how it looked with 2 posts...
I quite like blogger.com the amount of customizability (is that a word?) is great!

1st Entry

Well, here it is, our first entry, its been setup, and even linked to our web page.. Fantastic, now we'll have to put some more stuff on here..
